EDITOR’S NOTE: It is with deep sadness that we report the passing of Reg Laite, a great teacher, mentor, and friend, in the spring of 2020. Here is a link to Reg’s obituary. A fuller tribute to him will follow on these pages in the coming weeks.

A thoughtful news executive who specializes in the psychology of public speaking, Reg Laite’s expertise and tutelage have been invaluable tools in helping many executives advance their careers.

Your optimal public persona will emphasize the best of your character, intelligence and personality.  Laite is a master in how this is done - with ease and confidence.

A pioneer in all-news radio, Laite was a founding executive of NBC’s News and Information Service (NIS), an early forerunner to the all-news cable networks of today.

He served as a producer at NBC News, as well as News Director of some of the most prominent radio stations in the country: WOR/New York;  KYW/ Philadelphia; and KFWB/Los Angeles.

Laite has worked with an eclectic range of trainees - from economists at The Conference Board, to biologists at the Wildlife Conservation Society, to broadcasters such as Andrea Mitchell and religious figures such as the late Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, whom Mr. Laite prepared for the syndicated radio series “The American Character.”
