Your idea sounds great... but how will it look in print?
Dunlop
Media can arrange for an experienced affiliate journalist to call in to
the training site and interview the subject(s) for a hypothetical
newspaper or wire service article.
Later
in the session, the completed mock article is delivered in print form
to the participants via fax or e-mail, and the reporter rejoins the
session by phone, this time for a detailed post-mortem of the interview,
and a review of what they wrote and why.
This
affords the trainees the added opportunity to see how their remarks
might actually be used within the context of a printed story, and what
particular quotes or sound bites gained “traction” with a journalist who
was not part of the PATH™ instructional process.
